For Mattosan and Ronnie:
I am so very sorry you two are going through such hard situations right now. I pray for both of you. Sometimes times get so tough that we feel nobody can understand your exact circumstance and pain. That is true - no human can. Only God can. I challenge both of you - judging by the situation I've read - that you cast all your worries to God: make a very serious prayer, put down all your emotional walls, and lay each worry, fear, anxiety to God's feet. Accept what you have, and lay them one-by-one giving each worry its personal attention, and let God lift it from you. Ask him to exchange each one for joy and happiness.
I understand you are fighting for the marriage. This is such a hard time. Thankfully God knows that feeling of pain, rejection, and struggle. In my opinion, it becomes harder for Him to help when we hold on to our problems. Every moment we worry, we are being independent of God and trying to handle it ourselves. I challenge both of you to give it all you got to God. I'm not saying you'll be able to not think of it (something you hold so dear to you), but when you worry or get fearful at ANY moment - start to pray. I pray God draws near to you... and it is said through His word that he is nearest to the brokenhearted. God says not to worry:
"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert."
Isaiah 43: 18-19
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
-Psalm 34:18
By saying this, God may have a path for you and your spouses. He hears your prayers and knows what you want. But, let Him have His way, whether it is with your love or not. He hears our prayers, you know that don't you? Let Him be your light onto the path He has set aside JUST for you. He can connect the dots with your spouse. He can do anything. But, let Him have time to work on people, including yourself, using the timing of grace. My final prayer for you two is that you give it all to God. With love, hope, and happiness. Amen. |
