dont fret, dont panic, God hasnt changed his plan for you just because she is filing...now, I know how you feel I expect the same exact thing to happen to me this week as well...and I am sick over it espesially because i am mostly to blame for it..but the God of redemtion is still God , he still reigns, still controls your future and has a plan for your life! Now the truth is I , you, we dont know for sure what his plan is ...if she feels suffocated then this might be what she needs to feel free enough to look at what she is doing to and turn around and come home and decide she doesnt want to divorce you..but you must let her go and set her free..it doesnt mean you have to except defeat it just means she has excepted defeat for now. You can stand if you feel that is what god has called you to...that is personal decision between you and the lord... if you dont let her go and hang on with all your might you will wear yourself out. If you are to be together YOU cant do anything to change that because God determines your steps and he knows how much you love her, that doesnt give you licsence to live as you wish..he wants you to follow what is right. . but he also knows the beginning from the end.. Now I am not comfortable even writing this to you because I dont want to even hear it myself so I know how you feel when you read something like this but none the less it is a fact that we both must except..with that said God HATES divorce so you must know that he will do what is right for you because you asked him to guide your life. He knows that your hearts desire is to be with tina but he also knows all things so what we cant see about our future he can....and he loves you and is going to do what is best for you and since he loves you and he hates divorce then you must believe he will take your best interest at heart. Now with all that worldly wisdom lets pray against the tide and ask that God will act in the heart of our wives and keep them both from going through with this...Heavenly Father we would ask that as our wives go to file this week that by the power of your spirit the overwhelming conviction would prove to be too much and they wouldnt be able to go through with it BUT even if they do file help us both rest knowing that you have a plan that is good and hopeful and heavenly and that we can rest in your loving arms as this ones gonna hurt..help us remember that you are with us in the fire and we wont get burned at all only refined to make us better to serve.. God give us peace but we ask you would bring your saving grace from on high and save our marriages before they end up in divorce,turn the tide lord bring your healing touch today please o god turn and show us your favor today. but help us to remember that your ways are higher than our ways and you are a loving God that wont withold any good thing from us and we place all trust in you and seek your best for us and we will rest in your decision lord. amen..........now next week when i am not so strong and feeling so bold I may want to fall apart at the seems too, so keep praying for me and I will lift you up to our heavenly father as well.
