He doesn't understand what it is to love or to be loved. He attends a Catholic Mass every Sunday morning. His never knew his mother and his father kicked him out at 16, his 2 older children doesn't care for him any longer. He has it in his heart that the less you care the easier it is.
Well, when he allowed me in his heart he woke up and started doing these mean things to me in order to push me away.
I know he cares for me, and I'm not ready to give up on this relationship, nor give my family and friends the benefit of saying "I told you so". He is 37 and I am 33. He is armed forces and I'm in the medical field.
I am not ready to give up on us;however, I am so broken hearted that I am just torn. I have prayed very hard, but either haven't saw any signs or just have turned a deaf ear.
I have never married b/c I refuse to settle but i'm just tired of letting it rest in God's hands. I know he knows best for me, but I'm running out of fuel and hope.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you today in prayer for Sugarplumsnnc. I first ask you to fill the heart and mind of Sugarplum with the holy spirit so that she can understand and follow the path you have set out just for her.
Lord, please help her make the right decisions and to pass all her worries to you, one-by-one. May she not worry, but trust you. It is important to know that by trusting you, we are giving it you. You are the everlasting, all-good, holy God, and you know what is best for her situation.
Please Lord, draw near to Sugarplum, her daughter, and her boyfriend. May you draw near to them, and may they know of your presence. May they follow your promise. Please Lord, give them the push to follow the path you have set for them. Please carry Sugarplum with your loving, and caring Hands. Remove her fears and worries. Fill her with hope and joy.
Lord, you have gone through what she is going through. You have suffered heart-break and loss of hope. You must know what Sugarplum is going through, don't You? Let that be a reassurance to Sugarplum. Let that be a sign that there is never a moment she is alone. You are always, and forever will be, with her. May she follow you with your amazing Grace.
