Lizzy, For some reason I do not believe that he is serious about leaving, as if he was, I think he would be long gone. Have you thought about this: If he's not serious about leaving, then why is he doing this to you? Is this a game to him? Is he intentionally doing it? Do you think that he could be satisfying his low self esteem, by threatening to leave (when he is not even serious about it) and this makes him feel loved, wanted, and needed; in some sort of sick way? (As when you are begging him to stay, it makes him feel loved, wanted, and needed!!! If you do not think this is possible, then what do you think the reason is that he does not leave? Just something to think about!!!
