I want to give you some Bible verses to stand on in times of distress!!!

Matt. 6-25 Take no thought (be not anxious) for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than rainment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly Father feedeth them. ARE YE NOT MUCH BETTER THAN THEY? 27 Which of you can by taking thought (being anxious) can add one cubit unto his stature? 31 Therefore, take no thought (be not therefore anxious) saying, what shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Dear Lizzy, You have blessed me, as I need to think about the things that I worry about. Because I looked these up for you, I too have been blessed to read them, and think about them.

***What these verses say is: Do not look into the future, and only think about today. It also says not to be anxious, as he knows your needs, and will take care of it! These are the promises from our God!!! Why would he let us down? I know first hand that it is easy to fall into the trap of worry, as this is what i've done, and essentially I am letting the devil work in my life, as I choose to do this. I am going to read these verses everytime I start to worry, and I hope that you will do the same!!! Read the whole chapter, it is very good, and is uplifting!!!!

I looked up some bible verses to quote Alex, when he becomes incensitive, or mean, or whatever!!! I would tell him that you are a child of God. That you fear that the Lord will retalliate against him, as he is doing harm to one of God's children. Also, you should warn him of the way in which he is living his life, and tell him that there is hope for him, and this marriage, but he needs to start to point his life, and thoughts towards Christ. Ask him to go to church with you. Also, ask him to start praying with you every night.
Tell him that you have prayed for your marriage, and have given him, and your marriage to the Lord, and for him to take care of! Jonah 2:2 I cried by reason of my affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried. And thou heardest my voice. 3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. 4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward the Holy Temple.

Pray about what you should say, and do exactly. I have given you some things to think about doing. Only do them if you think it will help!!! I do not want to cause more problems then good. I will continue to pray for both of you! Please read the Bible verses that are for you, each time you are discouraged. Try not to hammer on the smaller things, and focus on the bigger problems!
