"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of GOD; lest any root of bitterness and resentment springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. " (Hebrew 12:15)

Merciful Father, Your grace makes it possible for Eddie to be free from all bitterness and resentment. Thank You, LORD.
You offer light to everyone who is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul. (Job 3:20)
Please, LORD, convict Eddie of sin, righteousness and judgement. In Your Word You show how the heart knows its own bitterness, resulting in lonliness and joylessness. May Eddie be set free from the yoke of bondage to bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness, and may he never again permit bitterness to enter his soul. (Isaiah 38:15)
Be pleased, Merciful Father to uproot any bitter seeds that the devil desires to cultivate in Eddie's life. Guard against all forces of bitterness around Eddie with the sweetness of Your Spirit, LORD.
Bitterness grieves the Holy Spirit by whom we pray, asking You to seal Eddie unto the day of redemption. (Ephesians 1:13-14)
Thereore in faith we pray, believeing without wavering so as not to offend the gospel of Christ - with thanksgiving we make our request known unto You, Almighty GOD... we beseech You to cause Eddie to commit his life to putting away all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and malice, and clamor, and all evil speaking. And choose rather to work toward kindness, being tender hearted, and forgiving, even as You have forgiven him for Christ's sake. (Ephesians 4:31) Hallelujah! Amen and Amen
